The page checks for new messages regularly, and you can also refresh manually. When a real email arrives, it replaces the demo messages and shows its unread status, sender, subject, and content preview.

The PayPal and Netflix emails are clearly labeled interface demos showing how the list and message reader work; they are not counted as real emails. When the first real email arrives, the demo messages are automatically replaced.
